SEARCH · SERVICE PAGES · MEASUREMENT

Help the right people find you. Give them a reason to enquire.

A visit is only the beginning. We improve search foundations, service pages and enquiry journeys so people can understand your offer and act on it. Measurement helps you see what deserves more attention and what needs changing.

The traffic arrives. The enquiries do not.

Three failures, usually at once. Each one is quick to find and expensive to leave alone, and none of them show up in a rankings report.

01

Buyers search and find someone else

You rank for your own name and almost nothing else. The problem-shaped searches that come before a purchase get answered by a competitor, or by a directory that sells your own enquiry back to you.

02

Visits go up, work does not

People land, read half a page and leave without a phone number they can see, a form they trust or a reason to act today. Nobody has looked at where they drop out.

03

Nobody can tell you what worked

Two agencies, three dashboards and no agreed answer to the only question that matters: which of last month's enquiries came from which activity. So budget gets renewed on instinct.

Nobody here sells rankings. Or promises them.

We start by agreeing what counts as a result, usually a qualified enquiry, sometimes a booked call. Everything after is measured against that. Scope follows the evidence: if the fix is one broken form and three weak pages, we say so and stop there. If the whole site is invisible, that is a programme, and we tell you what it costs before you commit.

You keep the accounts. Analytics, Search Console, ad accounts and domain sit in your name with us added as users, so nothing you depend on leaves when we do. Reporting says plainly when a month was flat and why. Search work is slow and some of it will not land. We would rather tell you that early than let it run quietly.

Measure first. Then move.

Same order every time. The measurement goes in before the work, or there is nothing honest to report at the end.

01

Baseline first

We fix tracking before touching anything else, so the numbers you judge us by start clean. Every claim we make later is read against that baseline.

02

Demand mapping

We list the searches that precede real buying in your sector, check who currently answers each one and mark the gaps we can realistically take.

03

Build and publish

Pages written, technical faults cleared, forms and calls wired to tracking. Work goes live in small batches so cause and effect stay visible.

04

Read and adjust

Monthly review against the baseline. What moved gets more effort, what did not gets stopped, and you see both lists with a named owner beside each one.

Before you start. Practical questions, answered.

What to consider when deciding whether this work is right for your business.

01

Can Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 show which pages actually produce enquiries?

Usually only halfway. Search Console shows the query and the page that earned the click, Analytics shows what happened next, and neither knows whether the enquiry became work. Closing that gap means the enquiry itself carries the landing page as a stored field into wherever you track jobs.

02

We copy every enquiry into a spreadsheet to work out where it came from. Necessary?

No, and the spreadsheet is usually out of date by the time anyone reads it. The source belongs on the enquiry record at the moment it is created, taken from the page the visitor was on, so attribution is a stored field rather than somebody's memory of a phone call.

03

People find us on Google Business Profile and ring, and we count none of it. Fixable?

Often the calls are already counted and nobody looks. The profile records calls made from the listing, and the number on the site can be tagged so a call from search is distinguishable from a call from a van door. Count before changing anything, because the phone is often working and the form is not. Counting calls properly

04

Customers ring to ask whether we cover their postcode. Should the website answer that instead?

Yes, and that page tends to earn search traffic as a side effect. A coverage page naming the areas you actually work in answers the question before the call, and it matches how people type the search. The list has to be true, or it produces calls you cannot service.

05

We already pay for Google Ads. Would you tell us to switch it off?

Probably not. Ads buy attention now and search visibility earns it later, and turning one off to fund the other usually just makes the phone quieter, so use the product you already pay for. The first thing worth reading is which search terms in that account produce enquiries rather than clicks.

06

We are FCA regulated. Does that limit what our landing pages can claim?

Yes. A financial promotion has to be fair, clear and not misleading, and it needs sign-off before it is published, so the approval sits inside the publishing step rather than beside it. The person who signs off is named in the workflow instead of being chased by email afterwards. Regulated sector work

Rankings are not the point. Impressions are not the point. The point is the phone ringing, and knowing why.
