01
Which of these do we actually need, and how would we even know?
Usually fewer than people expect. The way to find out is to name the thing that is costing you: missed calls, re-typed data, a report nobody trusts. Each of those points at one capability, and the others stay untouched until that first thing is fixed and you can see whether the pain moved. How we scope work
02
Can you do just one piece and leave the rest of our stack alone?
Yes. An engagement can start as one piece, and the scope is written as a list of systems we will touch and a list we will not. That second list is the one that matters, because it is what stops an integration job quietly becoming a website rebuild. Anything outside it needs your agreement before it changes.
03
Do you build this yourselves or resell somebody else's platform with your name on it?
We build websites, integrations and custom software, including the websites shown for businesses we own. Where an existing product is the better choice, we can configure or connect it. The proposal makes clear what is custom work and what depends on another supplier. Automation and AI work
04
Do we keep the code, the domain and the accounts if we stop working with you?
The scope records ownership of custom work, your business accounts and data, and any third-party licences or managed services. We agree the access, documentation and export arrangements needed for handover before building, so you understand what can move and any dependencies that remain.
05
Can you work alongside the IT company that already looks after our systems?
Yes, where responsibilities and access can be agreed. Their remit is usually devices, networks and email; ours is the software joining your systems together. What prevents friction is agreeing in writing at the start who holds which credentials and who is called first when something stops, so nobody is diagnosing the same fault twice from different ends.
06
What if the fix is just a setting in software we already pay for?
Then that may be the right starting point. We check the relevant features and access your current subscriptions provide before proposing custom work. If configuration or training will meet the requirement, the scope can cover that instead of a new build.
