Can you stop us typing the same job into Commusoft and then again into Xero?
Yes, that is the standard job. The enquiry is captured once, becomes a job in Simpro, Commusoft, Tradify or whatever you already run, and the finished job raises the invoice in Xero. Where the job system publishes an API we use it. Where it does not, we use its own export and import files on a schedule. wiring systems together

Our engineers send job sheets and photos on WhatsApp. Is that actually a problem?
Often, and only for one reason: the photo is the only record and it lives on one person's phone. We do not usually try to break the WhatsApp habit, because it is the thing that actually gets used. We give the photos somewhere to land against the job instead, so the office can find them without asking anybody.
03
We miss calls when we are up a ladder. What actually happens to those?
An answering workflow can collect a name, location and description of the job, then send the details to the person following up. We agree the questions and routing with you, including what needs an immediate handover and what can wait for a callback. It is one option alongside better forms and simpler enquiry tracking. how the line works
04
Can our customers get a copy of their gas certificate without ringing the office?
Yes, and it is one of the quickest wins in the office. The certificate raised on the job gets a permanent link, sent to the customer by text when the engineer signs the job off, so landlords chasing a copy at renewal help themselves. The same link carries the invoice and a Stripe payment page.
05
We already pay for a job management system. Would you replace it?
Probably not. Most of the ones you will be on do the job perfectly well; what is missing is the wiring either side of them, and often a setting nobody switched on. We would rather connect what you have than sell you a migration. If the system genuinely cannot do it, we will show you exactly where it fails.
06
Does any of this affect our Gas Safe and NICEIC paperwork or the notifications we file?
No, and it should not. Notification stays with the scheme portal or the certification software you already use for it, because those forms change when the scheme changes them and you should not pay us for that. What we do is make sure the signed certificate lands against the job and the customer record automatically, rather than sitting in an engineer's email.
